Consulting for More Human-Centered Mental Health Systems

I partner with behavioral health organizations, nonprofits, advocacy initiatives, and healthcare organizations and mission-driven companies to strengthen psychosis-informed programming, improve patient experience, and build more trust-centered approaches to care.

Grounded in both lived experience and a professional background in communications and training, my consulting work helps organizations better understand the people they serve — and translate those insights into meaningful, actionable change.

“Learning from her narrative can teach all of us how to better serve those to whom we devote our life’s work. Any organization who needs skilled, masterful training for teams simply cannot go wrong utilizing Sally’s approach.”

A Perspective That Bridges Systems and Lived Experience

Much of mental healthcare is designed around people experiencing psychosis without fully understanding what those experiences actually feel like from the inside.

My work brings together:

  • lived experience with psychosis & hospitalization
  • professional expertise in communications & education
  • public advocacy & storytelling experience
  • training & facilitation experience with clinicians & mental health organizations

This combination allows me to help organizations identify gaps that are often invisible from within systems alone —particularly around trust, stigma, communication, emotional safety, and patient experience.

“She was always present, engaged, and active, open to guidance on achieving the project’s objectives while also maintaining her own unique perspective — an invaluable source of clarity and compassion.”
