Consulting

Consulting for More Human-Centered Mental Health Systems
I partner with behavioral health organizations, nonprofits, advocacy initiatives, and healthcare organizations and mission-driven companies to strengthen psychosis-informed programming, improve patient experience, and build more trust-centered approaches to care.
Grounded in both lived experience and a professional background in communications and training, my consulting work helps organizations better understand the people they serve — and translate those insights into meaningful, actionable change.

A Perspective That Bridges Systems and Lived Experience
Much of mental healthcare is designed around people experiencing psychosis without fully understanding what those experiences actually feel like from the inside.
My work brings together:
- lived experience with psychosis & hospitalization
- professional expertise in communications & education
- public advocacy & storytelling experience
- training & facilitation experience with clinicians & mental health organizations
This combination allows me to help organizations identify gaps that are often invisible from within systems alone —particularly around trust, stigma, communication, emotional safety, and patient experience.
How I Collaborate
Consulting engagements are tailored to the goals and needs of each organization and may include:
- exploratory strategy sessions
- short-term project consultation
- curriculum and material review
- program development support
- advisory partnerships
- brainstorming & planning
- ongoing consulting retainers
Available virtually or in person depending on project scope and location.
